Two Alumni Named to Board of Trustees

Two new trustees were named at the January meeting of the Florida Institute of Technology Board of Trustees meeting. They are alumni Randy Muns of Chico, Texas, and Robert Phebus of Melbourne.

An owner and operator of several agri-businesses in the United States for the past 25 years, Muns is currently a key investor in MDCC Holdings. The multifaceted holding company invests in construction, oil field services, agri-business and eco-tourism in Mozambique, Africa. He is also a key benefactor in MCO, a charitable organization that provides support for conservation and education in the northern rural areas of Mozambique.

Phebus retired from Ford in 2008 after 32 years of service in the finance area, including 11 years of international assignments. His final position, 2006-2008, was in Pretoria as director of ABSA Credit in South Africa and trustee of the Ford South Africa Pension fund.
