Meet Shannon: Business Administration-Marketing’14

Hey there, I’m Shannon Sullivan and I’ll be writing some thoughts on here for the rest of the semester, so I thought I’d tell you a little about myself.

I’m a senior business administration/marketing major, set to graduate this spring. I grew up here in Melbourne and attended Our Lady of Lourdes and Melbourne Central Catholic before making my way across the street to Florida Tech. After graduation, I am hoping to move to either NYC or London to work on my master’s in music business and pursue a career in the music industry.

In my spare time, I love going to concerts, discovering new music, spending far too much time watching TV shows and movies, watching sports (go Red Sox, Bruins, Pats, and Celtics!), and spending time with my friends and family, including my pup Rigby. I also love to travel and have a seemingly never-ending list of places I want to go.

Currently, I work in the marketing and communications department here on campus, but have also had the pleasure of helping out with the Oxford study abroad program, which I was fortunate enough to take part in this past summer (I’ll write more about that later). I have also recently begun volunteering at WFIT writing album and concert reviews.
