Mike Slotkin, Nathan M. Bisk College of Business, took 10 graduate and undergraduate students to study abroad in Spain during the Summer A session. The students, from main campus, Florida Tech University Online and the Extended Studies Department, spent 10 days enjoying the cultural riches of Madrid, Toledo and Segovia.

He led the students through manufacturing, retail and banking operations for his stylized international trade course, which he infused with economics and marketing lectures from faculty at the ESIC business and marketing school. When not in the lecture hall, students visited such sites as the Madrid Opera House, Royal Palace and Prado Museum as well as other museums and parks. Next year the course is scheduled for May 23-June 2 and is open to non-business majors who have met the prerequisites.

The COB Spain Study Abroad Program is an intensive, culturally-immersed educational experience that accommodates the needs of full-time and working professional students.

The ESIC is the partnering institution in Spain.
