It’s orientation week here at Florida Tech. So the campus is abuzz with activity, from check-in to move-in. We caught up with some of the new undergrads, as they became official Florida Tech Panthers, and asked: What are you looking forward to most? Cameron Buchheister Major: Aviation Management Home State: Pennsylvania “I’m most excited to meet a diverse amount of people. Where I come from, it’s not very diverse.” Thomas Gribben Major: Computer Engineering Home State: South Carolina “I’m looking forward to being close to the beach and having a great education and lacrosse.” Roberto Villasana Major: Business and Entrepreneurship Home State: Florida “LAX.” Tommy Bowser Major: General Engineering Home State: Pennsylvania “Lacrosse, being by the beach and getting to know my teammates.” Kyle Forbes Major: Business and Sports Management Home State: Florida “The Café” Natalie Tria Major: Aerospace Engineering Home State: New York “I’m nervous about living in Florida, but I’m excited about living on my own.” Abbey Gering Major: Oceanography and Environmental Science Home State: Illinois “I’m looking forward to experiencing new things. It’s astounding the difference between here and Jamaica.
