Florida Institute of Technology Adds Three Alumni to Board of Trustees

– Florida Institute of Technology’s Board of Trustees recently welcomed to its ranks three alumni, Albino Campanini ‘90, Henry Heflich ‘73, and Jim Thomas
‘72. “Each of these new Board members brings with them a passion for their alma mater and the skills and resources needed to make a difference in the life
of our university,” said Florida Tech President Anthony J. Catanese. “Each is a captain of the information age, and we are delighted that they will help us
chart our course in the coming years.”

Campanini is the Chief Executive Officer of Stottler Stagg and Associates, Architects, Engineers, Planners, Inc., headquartered in Cape Canaveral with
offices in Kissimmee and Capital Heights, Maryland.

Campanini was the captain of the 1988 National Champion Soccer Team and a coach of the 1991 champions. He serves on the College of Business’s Board of
Overseers and the Alumni Board of Directors.

Heflich was the co-founder of Genuity, Inc. and later served as the Chief Technology Officer of Broadcast.com. During his time at Broadcast.com, the
company’s stellar growth resulted in a NASDAQ record-setting IPO and eventual sale to Yahoo! for $5.6 billion.

Thomas is the founder of Coastal Dominion Capital, LLC, an early stage investment firm. Earlier in his career, Jim was the COO and CFO of MapQuest.com, and
managed the company’s IPO and subsequent sale to AOL. Thomas also serves as the treasurer of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.
