Stay Healthy Under Pressure

With the school year winding down, I have found that I feel very stressed. Final projects, fraternity meetings, and crazy schedules are just a few stress-balls I’m dealing with. But all of these things are not an excuse to let myself go…especially with summer right around the corner.

I recently read an article on Lifehacker , Get more done by organizing “just enough”, and it got me thinking about how I keep myself organized.  I always try to keep a normal workout schedule to stay fit. At least half an hour to an hour of cardio every day can keep you healthy and that’s not too much to ask from the normal college student’s schedule. Just keeping a normal workout schedule can benefit aspects of your life other than staying healthy. With my schedule, I find that I tend to stay more organized if I can squeeze in regular workouts. I find that it’s this repetitive event that helps me plan other tasks better between workouts. Routine actually helps me avoid procrastinating. Being more organized keeps me from slacking off because when I miss a workout, I find that sometimes my schedule gets messed up and no one wants that.

These are just my observations from what I’ve tried and it’s worked pretty well for me. I’ve been more organized, I get work done before the day it’s due, and my grades have also seen a boost.
