An Epic Research Trip Leads to an Epic Music Video

The Pescadito music video that came out of Florida Tech students Erin Walters and Kara Watts’s summer research trip to Puerto Rico and Cuba is a must see.

Walters (an ocean engineering master’s student) and Watts (an animal behavior major) spent their summer diving coral reefs, spotting sea turtles and octopi and taking in historic sites—all for course credit.

The music video—which was written, directed and produced by Walters and Watts—is a playful synthesis of everything the two learned during the summer research course. Enjoy this earworm of a ditty.
