Upcoming holiday hours: Evans Library will close at 5pm on Thursday July 2nd and reopen again on Sunday July 5 at 1pm.

We’re pleased to announce that Special Collections Curator Diane Newman is now officially a docent for the Ruth Funk Center – way to go, Diane!

Updates

New thin clients have come to the first floor – you may notice a new protocol for logging in on these new machines. Please let us know if you experience any difficulties using these new terminals!

We’re changing and rearranging – in the coming weeks and months, the first and third floors will be updated, rearranged, and revamped to better serve our users. We’re trying our best to keep service disruption and noise disturbance to a minimum, so please bear with us while the changes are made!

Events

On Tuesday, June 23, Florida Tech Professors Emeriti and others met with University Archivist Erin Mahaney to put names to faces on many photographs.  The group’s new president, Palmer Stiles, enjoyed a walk down memory lane while everyone told stories and performed a valuable next step in the processing of Florida Tech’s Historic Photograph Collection.
