Campus Visit by David and Terry Clayton

Recently Florida Tech was treated to a visit from David Clayton and his wife, Terry.  Mr. Clayton is not only a former Florida Tech board member and an alumnus (M.S. – Ocean Engineering 1983; MBA 1986), but he is also the nephew of the late Marion Clayton Link, whose endowment supports electronic resources for the Evans Library.  Mr. Clayton’s career included working at Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute and Vetrol Data Systems.  He currently serves as Mayor of the Town of Mt. Crested Butte, Colorado. The day’s activities included tours of the Library by Kathy Turner, Associate Dean of Libraries, and of the Edwin A. Link Building by Dr. George Maul, Professor, Marine & Environmental Systems. A highlight was Dr. Maul’s testing out one of the Library’s anti-gravity chairs. Thumbs up!
