Whether or not you had the flight simulator experience during Evans Library’s College of Aeronautics Research Showcase, we want you to know that another opportunity to take a simulated flight will take place at the Human-Centered Design Institute during their Open House on Wednesday, November 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The HCDi is located in the Florida Tech Commons, Suite 316.
Two complete and modifiable simulators, an Airbus 320 and a Boeing 737, equip the HCDi cockpit design research lab. These new acquisitions will support research efforts in human-centered design such as computer-based onboard documentation, 3D weather forecast situation analysis systems, and NextGen trajectory-based operations support systems, and will provide a research platform for students in aeronautical engineering and sciences for research and innovation in the evolution of commercial aircraft cockpits.
We hope to see you at the HCDi Open House!
