Last semester, College of Business professors Dr. Deborah Carstens and Dr. Abram Walton team taught in the Masters of Science in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (MSIE) program. Dr. Carstens taught a New Product Development course while Dr. Walton taught an Entrepreneurship and Innovation course. There two courses were tied together along the whole semester as students worked towards their final: A presentation to their professors and the College of Business’s Advisory Board members. After their presentations the audience were then invited to ask shark tank type questions to the teams.

This team teaching method is one way the College of Business is staying on the cutting edge in the education of their students. The class’s content was specifically tailored to match each other and provide the MSIE students with the best methods in their future goals.

For more information on the MSIE program contact Dr. Walton at: awalton@fit.edu
