Assistive Technology Solutions
With assistive technology advancements, the student with a learning disability has many more options to assist with academics. Keeping up to date with these new technologies can be a full time job for parents and students. I have found a wonderful resource on Facebook, LD Online, which has full time employees that research these areas. They have posted a new article that describes many technology options to assist in tasks such as note taking, reading material, and organization. I hope this article is beneficial and provides some new opportunities: Customizing Technology Solutions for College Students with Learning Disabilities by Joan M. Bisagno and Rachael M. Haven
