Evans Library’s Make-A-Comic workshop, held August 22, was a huge success with thirty-three students, faculty, and staff attending. The workshop was taught by Francis Gigantic of The Gigantic Company who discussed the basics of comic making and went over some iPad apps that are helpful in creating comics. In addition to this event, Evans Library is also hosting a Virtual Readout on Sept. 5 to celebrate Banned Books Week, which has the theme of comics and graphic novels this year.
